Thank you so much for your help.  I'll take your advice and try to get MinGW Developer Studio.  I book marked the link you sent me, and I'll check it out right away.
 
I think I mentioned that I'm really new to programming.  I just bought a couple of books about a month ago, and that's it.  I'd love to take a course someday, but in the meanwhile, it sure is nice to have kind, friendly people like you out there to communicate with.
