packet capturing library to get and send data to and from the network
card. Other wise you would have to use the driver of the particular
network card you are using or write one your self. Win Pcap gives you
the raw data in bits form that arrives at the card. you have to build
some data structures there after to get the desired data. like an IP
class or some thing. For this you will have to know the type of the
network (ethernet, token ring etc.) and the protocol (my emulator is
for IP based ethernet networks).
