Performance testing, corner case testing, and internal tool 
development for ATE systems software: 

Duties will include implementing benchmark tests for Automatic Test 
Equipment operating software and diagnostic software as defined by 
Engineering, analyzing the results of running these benchmark tests 
on test equipment, and determining where the bottlenecks exist in 
the software suite.  The candidate will be responsible for 
interfacing with software engineering management to report on the 
areas of the software that are likely to require change to meet 
performance goals.

Duties will also include developing tests that stress corner cases 
of the software, as defined by engineering, utilizing the language 
and tools of the end user of the ATE equipment and report on the 
status of these tests.

Duties may also include developing software tools that aid 
engineering in diagnosing problems encountered during software test 
and integration.


Minimum BS degree in EE, CS, Computer Engineering or equivalent and 
minimum 7 -10 years experience.
Proficient in C++ and/or ATL/COM under Windows XP (Visual Studio)
Some experience with Visual Basic and/or Perl is valuable.
Experience with digital hardware or ATE is a plus.
Firm grasp of software development process.
Quality analysis skills.
Good written, verbal and group communication skills.
