Looking for C or C# program code

I've been asked to take large ASCII files, millions of records, and 
create comprehensive lookup table. The Ascii files are created 
contineously by sensors attached to tools and machines linked to PC's.

This involves string manipulation, sorting, filtering many 
mathematical calculation, and creating a fast access indexed table.

Instead of starting from scratch, Is there any freeware or paid code 
in C or C# that is close to what I want and I can get and modify to 
do this?
