I guess what the original poster is refering to is: IDE's always provide option to create an Project file rather then just source file and compile run thing. You can create a source only file in the IDE as well. Either select a C console application as the project type. Or create an empty file with .c extension and use it as you wish. I am not refering to Dev-c++ now, so my answer might be bit abstract. but, I guess you should be able to work it out. even I faced/facing the same problem. When going for .prj files I guess IDEs might be real help. -- Senthil http://usr.blogspot.com On 6/22/05, ninad panday <[email protected]> wrote: > > HI, > > I guess the Dev C++ comes with a easy to understand > help files. > > These help files tells you hwo to use IDE and and to > build the programs. > > Hope refering these help files will help to solve your > problem > > Ninad > > --- BerkaY <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Hi,i am student in software engineering.I wonder how > > to use IDE in vs > > 6.0 or in dev-c++ i always ran my programs in > > colsole but this is not > > good for the users if you help me i'll be very happy > > > > > > > > > > > > > ____________________________________________________ > Yahoo!
