Minimum Skills and Qualifications: *********All candidates must be a US citizen and able to obtain a security clearance. ********* Education Degree (BS, MS or PhD) from accredited university in Computer Science, Math, Physical Sciences or Engineering Technical Skills / Experience Object oriented analysis and design Programming using OO language (C++ and Java) UML (Unified Modeling Language) XML (eXtensible Markup Language) Scripting (Perl, Ant) Desired Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills / Experience Middleware (CORBA/EJB/COM/DCOM) System-level design experience J2EE Experience with the ACE / TAO Distributed computing Embedded systems development Signal processing experience Algorithm development Hardware / Software co-design Domain Knowledge - Military Systems / SIGINT / COMINT / Threat Warning The Joint Threat Warning System (JTWS) is an information and electronic warfare support system to provide force protection, threat warning, and situational awareness information derived from intercept of threat signals and via receipt of own force intelligence and tactical data broadcasts. The system is modular, very light weight with minimal power requirements, and configurable to support man-pack, platform or remote unattended operation. JTWS configurations consist of Air, Maritime and Ground systems with Ground systems divided into three sub-configurations. They are the Ground SIGINT Kit (GSK) consisting of Man-Packable (MP) and Body Worn (BWS) while the third ground configuration is called the Team Transportable (TT). MP and BWS variants of GSK) are designed for both stationary and operations on the move by specially trained operators assigned to Special Operations Forces (SOF).
