Description:
Will report to the Manager of R&D and will be responsible for supporting ou=
r platform and product development with skilled and innovative firmware eng=
ineering.  They will work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers =
to provide core operational and communication firmware.  Applications will =
range from simple data acquisition to wireless remote networking.

Requirements:=20=20
-MUST HAVE A BS degree in Electrical Engineering; Computer Engineering or C=
omputer Science with a Master degree a plus.=20=20
-MUST HAVE a minimum 3 years experience programming in "C" (Assembly langua=
ge, C++ a plus) along with 5+ years  experience     developing embedded app=
lications on various 8 & 16 bit microprocessors such as PIC, AVR, TMS430 or=
 ARM.=20=20
 (Would also like to see experience with RTOS, analog signaling and wireles=
s and wired networking protocols (802.3; TCP/IP;  802.15.4 or Proprietary I=
SM).=20=20
-A good understanding of the different layers of the communication stacks. =
 Are also looking for practical experience with  structured GUI, especially=
 XML as well as Visual Basic or Visual C/C++.
-This engineer will also be adept with engineering tools such as; debuggers=
, emulators, version control,  compilers/assemblers, logic analyzers, DMM's=
 and oscilloscopes.  In addition they will be accomplished at developing  f=
irmware requirements, design and design verification documentation.  This p=
erson will be a hands-on engineer =96 someone that  likes to "tinker".=20=20
