I use mingw/GCC for a compiler and use Code::blocks  for the IDE.=20
MS VC express also works quite well and is reported to "have the best debug=
ger" (right Thomas? ;-))

I'm not sure what you mean by your comment "(but what have they done to the=
 language.)"
