ended up putting the factory idea and the idea listed on SO together.
where I have a series of create MyUniqueObject methods, and a method
that associates the logger/events, which can also be hooked via
@PostLoad, this way if I'm manually building the object it'll be wired
right, but I also have a service that can do so. For now I think it'll
work.
