If I wanted to, let's say, track drug money, then I would want to track
notes with individual identification even when they change owners. No,
ESPECIALLY when they change owners. Like Bitcoin.
I agree with Greg, his description makes much more sense. DDD is not
concerned with what happens during exchange of information anyway, it is
concerned with domain modeling. Mixing of scopes and contexts.
