You're the one mentioning legalese, and then adding generalities about it.
As far as I'm concerned I don't think the debate should be about scriptures but about effectiveness.
If a definition can provide the right outcome without ambiguity it's a good one. The one I suggested has a track record than can be repeated, but there are other as good.
