Hands off it sounds like it should be eventual consistent. Key word here is
outbound. You probably have or should have Sale Received or Sale Created
event. An event handler should listen to this event and Create the
inventory object. Im not sure whether Inventory and Sale receiving is in
the same domain. If The SalesReceipt is an aggregate root containing
InventoryItems, then its a single transaction. Else you should only modify
one aggregate root in one transaction, and hence the creation of the
InventoryItem should be done eventualy-
