Huh? I derived this _exactly_ from test-driven development principle:
I, as developer, has to test my software ontop of something. If
it's not readily available, I'll stub it. The best stub is an
emulation (simulation).
This also helps an (XP) Customer to formulate his requirements: he already
has a software model to play with and see how the Product he needs is
gradually evolved.
