My passion was, and is, discovering / developing a line of reasoning, a set
of analogies, and a set of evidence that makes a compelling case for the
argument that outsourcing / offshoring a business' IT is short-sighted and
counter to the business' development / maintenance of a long-term
competitive position in their market.  I believe that XP and its practices
may form the basis for the solution to problems that outsourcing "solves."
Those problems lie in the business domain.  I am passionate about learning
more about those problems.  That requires the participation of business-side
folks.  I am passionate about removing any obstacles to their participation.
Particularly those obstacles that may impact their willingness to
participate.
