I'm not sure how to relate this to the question I asked. So I'll make
this leap: Are you thinking that Six Sigma is relevant primarily to
manufacturing, and less relevant to services such as software
development? If that's what you're getting at, I think you are
unnecessarily limiting the scope of Six Sigma. It's used in lots of
services. If that isn't what you meant, I'm still not seeing the
connection between Six Sigma and the software/manufacturing gap.
