Consider the common cold.  This very clever virus thrives by using our
defenses to spread from person to person.  It knows that if it tickles
our lungs, we'll cough in "defense," perhaps transferring the virus to
other people.  If it tickles our nose, we'll sneeze in "defense,"
perhaps transferring the virus to other people.  And we'll touch our
nose to scratch or wipe or whatever, transferring the virus to our
hands, and from there to other people.

Might it be possible to use the organization's "defenses" as a primary
way to spread XP?
