Stefan, If "work" is tied to "value production," then maybe we can separate he concept of working harder produces more value. The "trick" is to define the value upfront, then executing the planned effort against the value delivery can be used to measure the amount of value returned for the hours invested. Otherwise work becomes a Level of Effort process, so the longer I work the more "value" appears to be produced - which is not the case in most software orgs. Glen B.
