Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say the book would be a bad idea.
In fact it could be a good one if it were done right. What we can't
do - and what would be arrogant - is put something out that says
"Here we are to finally tell you guys in suits how to manage"

But perhaps there is no risk that anyone associated with XP
would ever come across that way.

You could call it management I suppose, but I think of it as something
that's more within the XP group and that it only gets into management
when you start to deal with budget and staff implications. I'd certainly
want to explain how we do it to any managers outside the team so they
could interact with it.
