I found that the most effective way to "sell" pair programming in my 
organization was to make copies of Cockburn and Williams' "The Costs 
and Benefits of Pair Programming" from "Extreme Programming Examined" 
and hand it to whoever would take it.

Usually, I would have briefly described pair programming and then 
handed over the article saying, "I think you might find this 
interesting."  Everyone I gave it to had a positive reaction to it.
