Would you accept the term team facilitator?  I think this is closer to 
my role than its title of "leader".

Any group benefits form an outsider to help them make their discussions. 
 I keep PMs of their back, chair standups, act as a sounding board and 
mentor.

There is more to leadership than telling people what to do!

As an aside, the team found it hard for the first few weeks not being 
told what to do, but now they are happy to work through the stories in 
their own way.
