I may need to > change my image, but that's the image I have for now. This raises a very interesting question. When what the team sees as in its interest is at odds with what the larger organization sees as in its interest, the manager becomes the cheif arbiter. The expands the scope of the manager beyond ObstacleRemover. In a way, the manager is the not-so-secret double agent, who needs to represent the team to the organzation, and the organization to the team. Steve ------------------------ Yahoo!
