Every corporate scrum or SAFe team I visit has this as their standard morning meeting. Usually it is the SM or the PO at the computer. They go person by person. Each person reports their status in ticket numbers. Usually developers first, followed by testers (yes separate groups with handoffs is scrum standard in corporate environments).
It’s not even BUGs. They use Jira/versionOne/etc to track every epic, feature, story, etc. All the work is in the bug tracker. And, of course, the bug tracker only allows one person per work item so no pairing is “allowed by the tool” let alone mobbing. And in some cases, the tool is the authority. In one company, if you enter a story into the tool and you choose not to implement it, that counts against you in the internal audits. It is the single authoritative point of work creation/operation/completion. 
Fun, and so very agile.

If so, then chalk that up to another reason not to have a bug tracker!
In my experience, a team that keeps the bug count in the range 0 to 4
or 5 doesn't need one at all. IIRC it was Ron who first identified the
need for a bug tracker as a symptom of a problem rather than the
essential tool that many folks consider it to be.
