Backing store constants for linux have values than for hpux, so it was not a simple code copy, git log and context should be check to remove doubts whether it is ok they are used only for hpux.
Gc register base should be used on freebsd I suppose so misc.c is to be updated.

On a related note, looking at the code in os_dep.c, it appears that
these two constants are only used when HPUX_STACKBOTTOM is defined; I
think their definition should be removed from the "ifdef LINUX" clause
in gcconfig.h.

Looking at misc.c, it seems that GC_register_stackbottom is only set
when '(defined(LINUX) || defined(HPUX)) && defined(IA64)', so it will
remain equal to zero on FreeBSD.
