 Hello Marek,

I've committed the proposed GC patch to master.

The patch for libatomic_ops does not fit the library license, see  https://github.com/ivmai/libatomic_ops/blob/master/doc/LICENSING.txt  
As a reference for a file heading comment you could look e.g at  https://github.com/ivmai/libatomic_ops/blob/master/src/atomic_ops/sysdeps/gcc/mips.h
