I guess MS does nowadays what it usually does: innovate first in the Office. :-) If you look at the Office 2003 (that is what I have) there are less and less dialog boxes. They are transferring the work into "sidebars", which are basically docked modeless dialogs. I guess the larger and larger screen resolutions (screen real-esate) drives away dialogs into that direction? Who knows. Attila
