MS Reader is supposed to present books (of .lit format). That means mainly rendering plaintext to the screen -- only a few million other applications do that. Now, in MS Reader we have several pages of setup for fancy stuff, but can't: a/ switch to Continous display -- the text is rendered one page at a time, using scroll or PgDn jumps a whole page. b/ change the window size. No kidding: MS decides I window that is vertically almost full screen and horisontally like half shall be good enough for everyone. I wonder if there's some public DOGHOUSE for super-duper-annoying applications...
