Fixed-width web pages - have some pity on designers!

Many web page designers come from a graphic design
background. They mostly learned to design magazine
pages, brochures, etc., where they don't plan for
someone resizing their work. They know how to make
things look prominent, how to show that two items
relate, etc., assuming that nobody doinks around with
the page layout. So now your chapter points out that
people want to resize the "content window", which
necessarily doinks with the layout. The "solutions"
part of the chapter would be stronger if it
specifically called out how to solve the content
coherence problems in a variable-width window that
don't come up with a fixed-width window.
