Hey Philip, 

On the first post, I had explained that I was relearning C++ from
years of being on other languages (Java & Ruby).  
The second post was simply as a subject"
Is it in the C++ culture to use Dependency Injection/Inversion of
Control?"  The body of the post was "Just that simple question....out
of curiosity."
The person who went ballistic read my first post and was familiar
(hopefully) with my background.

That's just why I was shocked.
