Pros and cons of perforce

Hi all,

I post the message to talk about perforce in order to get more knowledge 
on it.

Start to use perfore because of new project. The big issue I met is that 
perforce can not get the latest source codes from server completely by one 
time.
In other words, it can not work well. Then you have to find out which 
modules are not synced from the server and do it again.

I think it is really bad thing ! Maybe I use wrong configuration ? 

Besides, it is not free. 

I think I point out two weakness. 

How about you , who had experienced perforce.
