Something I must talk clear first. The source files I need are very 
larges, more than 1 G.

You question just give me some hint, thanks again.
The network architect is like this,

ME (client) ---> local server ---> remote server

I just need to connect local server, which will sync with remote server.

I will try to connect remote server directly again.

I have synched an instance of my company's entire source code tree many 
times using Perforce.  I don't know offhand how many thousands of files 
that is, but it surprises me to hear that you aren't able to synch an 
arbitrarily large number of files in one pass.  Not that I'm any great fan 
of Perforce, just surprised that it isn't minimally functional for you. 
Does the synch proceed really slowly?  What kind of network connection do 
you have to your Perforce server?

I post the message to talk about perforce in order to get more knowledge 
on it. 

Start to use perfore because of new project. The big issue I met is that 
perforce can not get the latest source codes from server completely by one 
time. 
In other words, it can not work well. Then you have to find out which 
modules are not synced from the server and do it again. 

I think it is really bad thing ! Maybe I use wrong configuration ?   

Besides, it is not free. 

I think I point out two weakness. 

How about you , who had experienced perforce.
