Thank you! I've been frustrated at the number of folks who have had
nothing but good things to say about this; it's not "Clean Code", but
"Clean Java". It's not bad, but it isn't nearly as good as most of the
folks I've talked to think it is. It's worth reading, but as a
third-or-fourth tier book to be read with skepticism (especially about
method length).

It's not world-view changing, but I recently reviewed "Real-World
Functional Programming" by Petricek with Skeet and found it an
interesting investigation. As the presence of Skeet suggests, it
focusses on .NET languages (F# and C#), but I think it manages the
concepts well.
