Indeed.

I can't envision writing a device driver in Java or C# :)

As others have said, slagging a language because it doesn't meet your needs
is not useful.

(Comparative language discussions, however, are awesome.  This is how I
would solve problem X in language Y.  Hey, look at how my solution in
language Z compares. etc.)

Can&#39;t say I agree with that. It&#39;s not about platform, it&#39;s abou=

problem. For systems programming, especially on the embedded side, C&#43;&#=

is still one of the best (and only) choices. But writing a GUI or web<br>
application in it is just nuts.<br>
