Subject: [load balancing] CLI strangeness on the CSS 11500 series

I have always wondered why one cannot cut and paste successfully on the CSS
CLI. Also, if one uses putty to save the run config of a CSS by logging CLI
output to a text file and then one uses snipplets of that text file in other
text files, once the new text file is saved the snipplet taken from the
original text file gets jumbled as if there were no line breaks. But this
doesn't happen with other terminal programs like teraterm. Anyone on this
list have an explanation for these oddities?
