TCP State Bypass might work for you on the ASA. We've isolated the problem further and see that the TCP connections are being blocked by our Cisco ASA firewall because there is no established connection in the firewall (it was established with the firewall in the other data center). I'm looking for a way to disable this feature in the Cisco ASA but so far I can't find one.
