Re: tunnel IPSEC

Hi,

 

If there is any NAT (Source NAT or destination NAT) being done in your deployment between two IPSec devices,  then UDP encapsulation (NAT Traversal feature) kicks in. Since the devices in between consider them as normal UDP connection, the tunnel traffic should go through fine. 

 

If there is no NAT, then some devices fail to handle the tunnel traffic, specifically when there are multiple tunnels.
