Yeah. :)

Pound seems to be able to pass it through but I can't get haproxy to see it.

Regards,

Chris.

Hi Chris,

In looking at the pound website, it looks like it does insert an X-Forwarded-for header:

As long as HAProxy doesn't re-write the header, it should get passed to your servers.

We are using Pound to terminate incoming SSL traffic and then we forward to the packet to a HAPROXY server for load balancing.

Pound sees in the client IP address of our external web browser in its logs, which is great,, but when Pound forwards the traffic to HAPROXY, HAPROXY sees the source IP as being Pound and not the real external IP address.

Is it possible for Pound to send the real source IP address to haproxy and have haproxy display that IP address in its logs instead?

Basically, I want haproxy to see the x-forwarded IP address.

	Thanks,
