We need cookie persistence and last I had checked, pound did not support this.

Curious, why even bother with HA-Proxy? Why not just do the balancing + termination on Pound?

Subject: [load balancing] HAPROXY and POUND X-FORWARD
We are using Pound to terminate incoming SSL traffic and then we forward to the packet to a HAPROXY server for load balancing.
Pound sees in the client IP address of our external web browser in its logs, which is great,, but when Pound forwards the traffic to HAPROXY, HAPROXY sees the source IP as being Pound and not the real external IP address.
Is it possible for Pound to send the real source IP address to haproxy and have haproxy display that IP address in its logs instead?
Basically, I want haproxy to see the x-forwarded IP address.
Thanks,
Chris.
