No, it's a pretty fundamental question; once you've
answered it to your own satisfaction, the rest of Agile
Modeling is just the detail - which thankfully Scott has
provided for us in abundance.

Of course we cannot.  Yet it is the model in the mind that 
matters.  Once the model is there, there's no need to
write it down except when it needs to be communicated
to someone else - where a diagram or two may help,
particularly if face-to-face communication is not feasible.
So really, the question is not whether we model, it's
whether we write the models down.  In our minds, there will
be a model.   I can't imagine writing software without that.
