I was referring to the specific type of security breach known as a 'back door' where a programmer inserts code that allows unauthorised access to the system, usually for nefarious purposes. If the 'back door' you are talking about is a way of getting reasonable but unauthorised requirements implemented (I guess it might be from the context), then I agree, proper evaluation and prioritisation of stakeholder 'wants' is the right approach.
