RE: [AM] Wiki advice -- Windows

This must be the "in thing". I just converted both of my sites to a Wiki
(about a month ago). I did some pretty extensive investigating, and after
evaluating many different alternatives written in a variety of languages, I
decided on PMWiki (http://www.pmichaud.com/wiki/PmWiki/PmWiki). While I
wasn't too fond of the fact that it's written in PHP, it had most of what I
wanted (and I wanted some non-Wiki like functionality), so I went with it.
I've been pretty impressed.

The www.extensiblejava.com site is pretty much PmWiki out of the box. The
www.kirkk.com site is PmWiki with quite a few customizations (though it only
scratches about 10% of the functionality). Actually, unless you look at the
URL for www.kirkk.com, you can't even tell it's a Wiki.

I know PmWiki runs on Windows.

Last, I started my investigation by reviewing material on the C2 site.
Here's a link: http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?WikiEngines. Yeah, there are a lot.

As an aside, and maybe a bit more inline with list topics, we've been using
Wiki's on a few of my projects lately. Wow...how effective. I'll be touching
on that briefly during my Continuous Integration case study on Friday at
SDExpo.

about the WikiWay.
