Using strongtalk VM

Hi Dave,
Thank you for making this possible!

I am interested in using strongtalk as a vehicle to build
 a new VM to host VisualSmalltalk (VSE) systems.

I have made a framework some years ago that let me
 build smalltalk images from seed objects using
 Squeak as a mother environment and Squeak VM
 to run child image.
The child environment can be diferent in design
 of the mother environment (a kind of clonner is used
 to build and image from big bang objects).
The framework is described (and available) at

 and was used to develop a propietary smalltalk
 environment linked to a 3D engine for Game Industry.

As I told I see that strongtalk VM can be used
 to boot a VSE system with the same technique...
 (a running strongtalk environment compile/build
 an image inside th erunning image and save a
 new image to be run as the target environment)

Now my questions about the topic:
1.- is anyone interested in this kind of project?
2.- can the strongtalk VM save/load an image
 and build an image with a cloner (like smalltalk/80) ?
3.- are there any constrains imposed by the strongtalk
 engine to build another smalltalk (similar bytecodes
 to smalltalk/80?, full closures?)
4.- have access the OS API from strongtalk?
    have support to callbacks ?
