Okay, I'll admit my concept of "any given DSL" was a little more limited than that :) I was talking of DSLs at a higher level than pragmatic_lang, and I certainly don't subscribe to the One True Language view. What I did mean was the following: assume you want to write a DSL for a Domain that could benefit from a Specific Language rather than libraries written in a more general one. Then, Pragmatic should supply a rich base atop which to build the language, with no restrictions as to paradigm, syntax etc, but nonetheless a clear idea that you're extending Pragmatic rather than writing an interpreter in it.
