Given agile development methodology many a projects look at re-factoring as
their key process of design evolution.

Recently I was developing plugins in rich client platform given by he
eclipse project and saw a trend there which is pretty common. They go ahead
with their initial understanding of interfaces and then if that idea
extends, they create interface2, interface3 for the same functionality base.
Separate set of holders/enabler classes which utilize the new interfaces.
Perhaps they wanted a way out of changing interfaces so they went that way.

That could be an interesting thing to study as to how that pattern performs.
