Ø You should explicitly state that on your product pages. Agreed. Ø I get tired of looking at the latest ballyhooed advances in refactoring only to find out that it doesn't support the language that needs refactoring tools the most. I dont get the feeling that C++ was ever designed to support high-quality tooling; its incredibly difficult/expensive to give it the tooling support it needs. Hence the dearth of great tools. Of course, having great tooling wasnt so much a consideration 26 years ago when C++ was created. That said, most CodeRush features do support C++, including refactorings. However due to time constraints and the cost of testing, we were unable to make DDC available for C++ in this release. - Mark Miller DevExpress C# MVP @MillerMark From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Richard Sent: Thursday, December 01, 2011 7:18 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [refactoring] Refactoring and clone consolidation In article <[email protected] <mailto:08e001ccb09a%247b9bec10%2472d3c430%24%40devexpress.com> >, "Mark Miller" <[email protected] <mailto:markm%40devexpress.com> > writes: > The DDC technology currently does not support C++.
