Scott,

You've gotten some good advice. I'll add one more suggestion.

Find some meaningful way of measuring progress. In this case, I'd want=20
to measure the ability to use the migrated data. If you can figure out=20
the ways in which it's currently being used, you can track progress by=20
which of those ways can be successfully used on the migrated database.=20
This will give you a clear view of the progress in a way that's less=20
likely to hide undoneness. It might also give you some good ideas on how=20
to chunk the work for taking smaller steps and setting priorities.
