Improve Swig layer performance. help.

Hi, Good day from India,

    I am currently working on one API product of the company. This API is
written in C++ language and there is Java wrapper on it. So, there is a
SWIG layer in between JAVA and C++. In the beginning we were using Swig
version 2.0.10. But now we want some improvement in the performance, for
that we have upgraded the swig version to 4.1.1 and used some optimization
flags like -O , -fastdispatch. But after compiling with these flags we have
not observed any improvement in the performance. Can you suggest some ways
to improve the performance and what else we can do for that?

Please advise.
