We weren=E2=80=99t at all happy with that property but wanted to pres= s on to express the symmetry which is a much better fit for property based testing= . In retrospect it would be better to start with the symmetry properties and maybe properties about the overall shape (eg the lines form a square of characters, the size of the square, etc) and use them to support correctly writing more detailed properties (the contents of each line, say). It=E2=80=99s an interesting kata because parts of the problem are a reall= y good fit for property based testing and other parts are not. =E2=80=94Nat On Wed, 1 Jan 2020 at 15:45, Avi Kessner <[email protected]> wrote: > Am I missing something, or did the indentation test not actually test > indentation? > > On Tue, Dec 31, 2019, 17:05 Dmitry Kandalov <[email protected]> wrote= : > >> Hello All, >> >> In case anyone is interested, here is a video in which Nat Pryce and I >> are doing a diamond kata at KotlinConf >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DI0OgA4OcXOY >> >> Regards, >> Dmitry > >=20 > > -- http://www.natpryce.com -=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
