Actually, it was intentional.  It *was* an experiment.  And we were
headed in the same direction as jfcUnit because we were doing
test-first.  There was no way to record actions before there was any GUI
to act against.  Record-and-playback gui testers are probably better for
acceptance testing, but programmatic testers are probably better for
TDD, IMHO.
