RE: [TFUI] Is test driven UI development conceptually different?

Hi!

I find that TDDing GUIs has nearly the same benefits as TDDing other
code: It helps me decoupling things, tells me when I am done and makes
me confident that I don't break functionality when changing the code. It
works incredibly well for testing things like "when I move this
ScrollBar, the other ScrollBar should move accordingly" or "when this
textfield is empty, the button should be disabled".

What we don't write automated tests for are the Look and Feel of the
GUI. For that we use manual inspection, using the JDemo  Framework:
