(syntactically, not semantically :-) Your message: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TestFirstUserInterfaces/message/668 My reply: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TestFirstUserInterfaces/message/669 (summary: I took your posted XSL, wrapped it with <xsl:stylesheet ...>, and then ran it through the MSXSL processor with the sample input given in my message 669.) (Now for the semantics...) I'm trying to say two things: 1. there seems to be a minor bug in your XSL where it creates an extra empty span. This is in the case where you have both a <title> and a <shorttitle> under the <header> node (I assume that's valid input). 2. one possible change (improvement?) is to move the test further inside the <a> node (and make it an xsl:choose). It's hard to know if what I'm proposing is sensible for you because I don't have enough of the context for your problem. I'm just hoping that showing you the code for the <xsl:choose> might give you an idea.
